I'm an avid listener and information collector on the above. I've found the selection of music in the collective genres massive though. I'm constantly hearing a track on a tv commercial or the radio and tracing it and the singer/ musicians, then checking out their back catalogues. If any other forum members has recommendations (worth a punt), I,d be happy to check them out. A bit daft to do on a rugby forum, but nothing ventured nothing gained!

I've got close to 400 jazz albums. You should probably narrow it down a bit. This is generally considered the most important jazz album ever: This is probably the best-known track: I've got lots of blues as well.

Haha, not quite at 400 albums and certainly not with the Jazz. I've downloaded some Miles Davis stuff but not yet listened. I'll give it a go on my commutes this week and report back, thanks.

The cheapest place to get albums is Mp3Panda. It's a Russian site but I've been on there for a few years and they've never ripped me off. Most albums are $1-$1.50 mp3panda.com/

Excellent, all the file sharing sites have been made no go areas by my ISP.

You need some Charlie Parker and Billie Holiday but it's difficult to pick the right album. They didn't record albums back then so a lot of the stuff around now is just collections of anything the record company found stuck down the back of the fridge and condom dispenser.

I just had a look. Coool. She's using a clip-onremote microphone which was very state-of-the-art in 64. You never saw that, even on in-studio shows, like Ed Sullivan.

I'm guessing Clint thought it was a cool tune too.
