My Google classification/registration/whatever happened today. I now come up about 175th if you Google "rugby league forums"
I still only come up 6th if you Google "rugby league universe," behind Rugby Universe and RL International. Maybe I should have aimed for a more focussed name - RL Galaxy, perhaps.

u just need better metatags. A bit of research shows that the general opinion is: most of the major search engines don't use metatags anymore. from: googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com.au/2009/09/google-does-not-use-keywords-meta-tag.htmlQ: Does Google ever use the "keywords" meta tag in its web search ranking? A: In a word, no. Google does sell a Google Search Appliance, and that product has the ability to match meta tags, which could include the keywords meta tag. But that's an enterprise search appliance that is completely separate from our main web search. Our web search (the well-known search at Google.com that hundreds of millions of people use each day) disregards keyword metatags completely. They simply don't have any effect in our search ranking at present.

I'll keep struggling along. The support forum for these forums is OK if you know the jargon. I don't even understand how to phrase the question sometimes. I've been using computers since 1986 but I have no real interest in them.
I can learn maybe one new topic per day and that's all.
