OK, I'm gonna stop soon. One of the key figures in a lot of this drama seems to be Coach Red Pill. Here he was 5 years ago on RT:

Which brings us to the next drama which is part-YT, part not. The Killroy Event in Phoenix Arizona was kicked off by a couple of YTers, Based Mama and Dave Cullen. Many well-known YTers were advertised as being on the speakers' list and lots of crowdfunding and advance ticket sales occurred. Again, I'll let Mister Metokur take it from here:

I just read a comments thread on YouTube and even the Nazis are splitting into factions. I've been observing Alt-Right trends for a while and I believe the Alt-Right is a fiction of the media's imagination - it exists but it is so fragmented and so small that to consider it a meaningful threat is absurd. (I'm talking about the USA. In a 2-party State, minority parties have no hope. It's only in countries like Italy or Israel where Governments are usually made up of coalitions of up to 4 or 5 parties that minority parties get any real pull.)
I watched an Evalion video, she's changed over the years from a devout Hitlerite in her teens to more of a Strasserite, now that she's married. Her commenters range from your basic "Hitler is God" crowd through Giovanni Gentile to your National Syndicalists to your Revolutionary Fascist (Mosleyite structure w/policies similar to the Manifesto of Verona and National Syndicalism).
I had to copy/paste that last bit because I'd never heard of it. What happened to the good ole days when you could just shave your head, buy a few brown shirts, get a copy of Mein Kampf and just start bashing non-whites on trains? Nazism was intended to be the last refuge of the hopelessly retarded, just like any normal cult. If I wanted to learn stuff and do my own thinking, why would I be joining a cult in the first place?
Damn modern world!! Everything's gotta be so complicated.

THE KILROY EVENT Based Mama finally resurfaces and speaks to Bearing about stuff: It's not the most interesting YT clip but the main points: - Event is still on - Based Mama has temporarily lost her access to the Kilroy PayPal. She needs to re-prove her ID. Also her Twitter has had hacking attempts? - About 100 refunds have been issued - What happened to all the speakers originally announced? Not clearly answered - What about the right wing speakers? James Allsup tentatively booked but Allsup changed his demands for topics and venues - What about the contracts with the contentious clauses? The 3-year Non-disclosure Agreement, the non-compete clauses. She sent the contracts to a lawyer who suggested the contract and NDA should be re-written. Sister Danger said No. - She hasn't committed fraud in relation to the selling of tickets for speakers who hadn't been signed up. At the bottom of the page, she said "List subject to change" so that covers her, apparently. - Why was Warski bumped? He wasn't. Something, something because reasons. - Is there a split between Mama and Sister? Dunno - Social Media Manager coming in to take over the, well, social media.

So the biggest drama of the New Year has already landed but it's on a 4-hour Warski stream so I'm not prepared to sit through all that. The guests were Styxhexenhammer666, Richard Spencer, JF Gariepy and Sargon. I guess Spencer is attempting to strike while the iron is hot after Braving Ruin and JF Gariepy declared victory over the Skeptics at the Battle of Kraut and Tea. I might sit through Vee's 30+ minute assessment of his God-mentor Sargon's performance but maybe not. Other channels are cutting excerpts for themselves to critique and I think the Spencer fanboys will do most of the crowing.
Not a Warski fan but I commend Andy for having Spencer on despite all the flak any Skeptic, Centrist or SJW pwnage channel gets for talking to the Alt-Right. Somebody needs to get Spencer to specify in clear detail what his Final Solution is. He's quite comfortable talking about financial incentives for emigration and has suggested giving the untermenschen Florida but I've never heard anyone ask him straight up, "After the emigrations and the voluntary relocations to Florida, what happens to the remaining people?"
Jean Francois Gariepy is also an ethno-nationalist but far more tolerable than Spencer because he is from Quebec. There's a massive difference between retaining the existing ethnic makeup of an area and Spencer's model, which is effectively ethnically cleansing 40% of the population.

This comes from another site where the subject of Jordan Peterson, Sam Harris and Ben Shapiro also came up.
The point with Spencer is that you need to tie him down to the unanswered questions: his Final Solution, his preferred economic model after the great cleansing, his definition of "white enough." The Alt-Right benefits by remaining vague. A lot of his fringe followers are AnCaps and Libertarians who wouldn't be happy with just producing a White version of the status quo. A lot of them are standard capitalists but anti-globalism. Some are straight Fascists but have no deep feelings about race other than using it as a uniting factor.
Then there's the % of whiteness required. Which Mexicans would qualify? Would Cubans qualify, since they are generally more pure Spanish than many Mexicans? Would Christianity have any preferred status in this new White Society? What would the status of women be?
Jordan Peterson is very easy to disagree with. Apart from his free speech position, he's just a traditional conservative barely any different from mainstream Republicans. Ben Shapiro is in an indefensible position: rational thinker AND orthodox Jew. You can't be both since the latter requires such suspension of disbelief that it's impossible to retain any claim to rationality. Also it's very difficult for anyone in the 21st century to justify Leviticus and Deuteronomy, apart from ISIS members.
I do, however, like the fact that Peterson and Shapiro (and Rubin, to an extent) exist. The tradition of public speakers willing to turn up all around the country to discuss ideas is more important than the ideas themselves.

I've almost finished the first hour of this stream and, while Sargon is failing badly, at least Spencer has laid out some more specific ideas. His biggest flaw, for many people, is that he is a big-government advocate. This may seem like a minor tangential point but I think it runs counter to the beliefs of many of his supporters. If anything, I could see some of his crowd bleeding off to Styx's channel.
There's a part just after the 1:00 hr mark where Styx dismantles the ethnostate with basic pragmatism.

The YT algorithm isn't very intelligent. It just sees Steven Crowder in the tags of your previously-watched videos and sends you Steven Crowder. I think I've watched1 Crowder vid and about 20 Crowder-debunking vids (potholer loves destroying Crowder's views on anything scientific) YT's algorithm interprets this as me liking Crowder.
Currently, my recommended list, the political stuff, includes Honey Badgers, The Distributist, Naked Ape, David Pakman and about 4 channels I've never heard of trying to ride the Jordan Peterson wave. So that's, MRA, Distributists, White Nationalist, Soft Left and Peterson, whose views cover a wide subject material so there's something there for everyone.
I'm not subscribed to any of those channels but I have watched at least one of their videos in the last week so, in that sense, the YT algorithm is working. There are probably 3/10 that I will watch. The Peterson videos include discussions with Sam Harris and Karen Straughan whom I have also watched in the last week.
Generally the recommended list becomes irrelevant as you build up your own list of subscribed channels
PS: What's a Distributist? A sort of Catholic Socialist movement based on a papal encyclical issued by Pope Leo XIII on the 1890s where he made a lot of social pronouncements regarding distribution of wealth, minimum wage, etc.
